Vacation Bible Experience
Join us August 4-8 for a week of "Power Lab", a science-themed VBE from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The sanctuary will be transformed into a science laboratory as we learn that Jesus gives us the power to be thankful, to help others, to be brave, to live forever, and to tell others about God.

Habitat for Humanity Coordinator(s) needed
Do you like to help others experience the joy of home ownership? Are you willing to share your leadership skills to coordinate 12-15 workers from New Covenant to work on a Habitat House ‘build’ two or three times during the year? To everyone that gave towards the Back-to-School drive in support of Arizona Action for Foster Children. This year the friends and members of New Covenant gave supplies and clothing for 33 children. What a great sight to see these colorful and stuffed backpacks packed into my car for delivery to the kids in need that we sponsored.
Bottled Water Drive
Wow! Thanks to your generosity we’ve already donated several cases of water bottles to Grace Lutheran Church in downtown Phoenix, where we support a breakfast for the homeless every second Sunday of each month. But let’s keep the water coming for the month of August! Please bring all donations to the narthex of the church or to the main church office until the end of the summer. Vacation Bible Experience-This Week.
Join us for a week of “Power Lab”, a science-themed VBE from 9am-11am. The sanctuary will be transformed into a science laboratory as we learn that Jesus gives us the power to be thankful, to help others, to be brave, to live forever, and to tell others about God. Registration form is available on the website and in the preschool office. The cost has been reduced to $25!
A Prayer Station is located in the back corner of the sanctuary for anyone who would like to pray privately or with a prayer partner.
Worship Band and Youth Band Auditions
For guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, winds, strings, and voice. Who? Anyone interested, ages 12 & up. When? August 10th and 17th right after church. Where? In the Sanctuary. Why? Because there are probably people like you feeling God calling you to share your musical gifts as an offering of praise and worship but don’t know how to begin. Contact David Negron by email at

Grace Homeless Breakfast
The next date for this breakfast is Sunday, August 10th. Volunteers are needed to serve breakfast at Grace Lutheran Church in Phoenix on the 2nd Sunday of every month. A sign-up is on the kiosk in the back of the church.
