What is NCAA?

The New Covenant Arts Academy (NCAA) is an exciting new after-school program to be offered at the ever-growing New Covenant Preschool and Kindergarten.  It combines teaching the creative arts in a fun group atmosphere with building faith and character in young children preschool-aged up to 5th grade.  Music, Dance, Art, and Spanish are just some of the initial classes being offered in six-week sessions throughout the school year.  The NCAA teachers are skilled and fingerprinted instructors as well as excellent role models who are dedicated to encouraging all kids to discover and use their creative God-given gifts.

Teacher/Student Ratio:

Class size is limited to 6 students for Art and Music classes and 10 students for all other classes.

Sessions:

The NCAA year consists of five 6-week sessions that also follow the school calendar schedule. The session dates are the following:

  • Session I:    Sept. 11 – Oct. 25
  • Session II:   Oct. 30 – Dec. 13
  • Session III:  Jan. 8 – Feb. 14
  • Session IV:   Feb. 26 – Apr. 10
  • Session V:    Apr. 15 – May 22

Costs:
  • $90.00 for Art and Music Classes (plus supplies)
  • $70.00 for all other classes
  • $10.00 discount for those in extended care
Details at a glance:
  • Group classes offered in the early afternoon and after school hours for ages 3 through 5th grade.
  • Affordably-priced and lovingly-taught.
  • Classes are 45–minutes in length—meet once/week.
  • Classes run for six-weeks.
  • Five sessions throughout the school year—beginning in September and ending in May.
  • Two "Open House Celebrations" per year.
  • Enrollment begins August 23rd at the New Covenant Preschool & Kindergarten.
Classroom Expectations:

  • All those enrolled in a music class will be expected to have proper instruments at home to practice on and come well-prepared each week.
  • All those enrolled in an art class must respect the proper care of all the paint brushes and supplies.
  • All those enrolled in a dance class must have appropriate clothing and either dance shoes or socks.
  • TIMELINESS & GOOD BEHAVIOR ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES!
